![]() I honestly can't find a reason to purchase this game or recommend it, what does this game even bring to the table? Literally nothing new apart from a few modern cars and the "improved ai" which I've yet to see from any gameplay. I'm sure there will be some fair and fun racing to be had, especially with all the city tracks in the game. Multiplayer could be it's saving grace but as far as I can see multiplayer exists of "quick race" and that is it. It's also pretty clear that the graphics are pretty poor for a game in 2019, which isn't critical but disapointing none the less. No dedicated open wheel, no f3 or f2 only f1000 and an F1 showdown. No meaningful qualification (1 attempt hot lap is not how you do qualification) Edit: Grid Autosport had a difficulty setting, race length which you could set all career races to 2x / 3x / 5x their respective lengths.) No setting to change career race lengths (this is an absolute no buy for me given every race I've seen so far is 3 laps. Very limited track selection (13 locations including 6 real tracks) These aren't 100% confirmed but I did spend a lot of time trying to find some of these things. I hope this allows people to make a better decision of their purchase.Įdit: I feel I should better preface this by saying this is based off my research into gameplay videos and career lets plays. I know quite a few people think this may be a return to the GRID golden days but after watching and reading enough it seems this may be as poor as Grid 2. I'm just hoping for a patch soon, I guess.I thought I'd list out all the features missing from Grid 2019 which have been in previous Grid games. I haven't tried deleting any game data or anything only because I'm pretty far along in terms of credits, upgrades, etc. ![]() I have tried restarting the career, even after a couple races in, to no avail. It'll say I have 50, but I finish like 5th overall for both, while the AI score isn't added correctly. I'll win both motos and the second moto will award me 0 points. ![]() Other buggy issue I'm having is I'm not receiving any points for the second moto. That could be, but I don't remember mxgp2 having invitational events, however, it could very well be. Good luck to all with this messy, crappy and buggy game :/ it's just not worth my time to keep on starting over and over in the hope that it'll eventually progress past that race. I've returned the game and I'll settle for 81% of the trophies. So after almost a day and a half testing and trying to get it past that particular point in career, I've just given up. Whatever I do I just can't get past Charlotte in career mode. That error occurred all 3 times, and it happens at a loading screen, thus corrupting my save file. Yeah I've tried a different save files, reinstalled the game, run the game without its day one patch, rebuild database, restarting career and have set it to just 2 races.īut I have tried the career mode 3 times now, only in one of those tries I didn't had the 'skipping races bug', but still had errors after the Charlotte race. Im not trying to be patronising just going through the steps that i go through when a game glitches. ![]() Of those that are affected have you tried the usual delete game data? play offline without day 1 patch? changing to races only? or even restarting career mode if your not far along? We have had problems like this with milestone games before, ride 1 was infamous for save bleed accross different modes aswell as a whole host of other problems and glitches. If i remember, kegums is 1 of the invitational events you do before the start of season 1, so maybe the game gets confused and tries to send you to the next invitational but then catches itself, (just guessing) I've sent them a couple messages but no response. Then it'll go to Basin, skip qualifying all together and go straight to race one. Mine is also starting at Kegums, does qualifying & race one, but then skips the second race. Yeah, I've been having the same thing happen, no matter the setting.
